Of course things had been quiet for too long.

They were on their way back to Coruscant when Antares pulled Sia and Jessica into one of the conference rooms to detail what looked a lot like a Sith attack on an Imperial colony on Ord Cantrell this morning. There hadn't been any military presence there, and the accounts came from survivors of the attack, who didn't have the experience with Sith to know exactly what it was that they were dealing with.

When Antares finished his briefing, he ended with, "Based on their previous attacks, they seem to be focusing on Imperial space."

It only took nearly a year, but Sia had finally gotten a win that she didn't have to fight tooth and nail for. In fact, this one had been fairly easy.

She'd been very firm in wanting to install an array to connect the Outer Rim to the rest of the galaxy again, one of the casualties of the war. It felt important to her for all citizens of the galaxy to be able to communicate, and not just because one of those Outer Rim planets was the capital of the Empire. To her surprise, she hadn't gotten a lot of opposition to it for once, and she assumed the others afually saw eye to eye with her on this.

She'd insisted on going to see the location of the array as it was being started, in part for the press and equally in part because sometimes she needed to get away. It still meant doing all the same duties as she did normally, just from her flagship, in her quarters, instead of in a meeting room. It also meant shutting down a call after another annoying meeting, and barely managing not to make faces at where the holographic images of her fellow triumvirs had been.

Because she was better than that.

[Not drowning at work for once so I'm doing canon stuff! Can be open for calls and texts!]
