Anyone else might have felt anxious all day, or spent the time questioning their decision. But when Sia made a decision, she stuck to it, and she went about her day, privately steeling herself for it.

They were kind enough to wait until after she was out of her meeting to tell her about the ship malfunction that had caused her uncle's death on route to Hapes.

When her father died, Sia had been unable to have a reaction until the shock wore off days later. This was something else entirely. Maybe she was protecting herself from the worst of it, maybe it was the fact that she really felt that it was the right thing to do, maybe too much had happened and she'd started going numb to it. But after setting in motion the arrangements for the memorial, she excused herself to her quarters, where she could be alone and feel weird for not feeling worse.

[Can be open, sure! She could probably use the distraction.]
