Room 317- Thursday afternoon

It was Sia's sixteenth birthday, and she was prepared for it to be incredibly low-key. A lot of people at home were currently incommunicado, she had no idea where most of her friends had disappeared to, and she wasn't going to think about what Jessica was dealing with right now, so it was a day off from classes where she'd probably play with her puppy and figure out her online classes and pretend that made it different than any other day.

She did have some messages from home to go through, though, and as she sat on her bed going through them, she had to admit she was a little homesick. Tomorrow would be a full year that she'd been here, and while she didn't mind the place, maybe it was time to get away for a little bit.
