Room 327- Sunday afternoon
Jun. 3rd, 2012 01:06 pmBack home, Sia was used to hiding, to doing things in ways that would allow her to go unseen and unrecognized. So she was perfectly aware now that she wouldn't always be able to hear from her father as much as she might like, because safety had to be a priority- for her as well as him- and there were times it just wouldn't be easy to make a call depending on where you were or the likelihood of the transmission being intercepted.
It did mean that she was happy to receive her first message from Roan of any real substance today. She'd heard from him not long after she arrived, and sent messages to him to let her know how she was doing, but now she could hear about things on his end and know he was safe, and it didn't take much more than that to please her some days.
Having played the message twice, she now sat down at her desk to read her datapad and try and figure out exactly what was going on in the area. It never hurt to be informed. Just the opposite, in fact.
[Open door, open post!]
