Room 327- Wednesday after classes

It'd taken a while for Sia to realize there was anything going on, just because, well, she wasn't in the habit of licking herself. And then at some point between class and now, she'd bit her lip unthinkingly and now she was annoying herself in trying to figure out what that taste was.

She dropped her things on her bed, stopping to lick her lips again. Yeah, she was pretty sure she was champagne-flavored today. Minus the alcohol content.

"Have you been spending your time licking yourself today?" she asked.

"Well, yes," Cade said, "but I taste like nerf!" He held out his arm. "Want to check?"

"Of course not," she said, so fast it was almost like she'd been expecting that.

She hadn't been. She was just that emphatic about licking relatives people she'd met once.

"You don't miss nerf?" Cade asked.

"There's a restaurant in town that probably serves it. I don't need to lick your arm," she replied. "I trust that you're telling the truth."

"What do you taste like?" Cade wondered.

"Nothing you will be trying for yourself," she said, wanting to establish boundaries here.

"Aww, don't be such a princess about--"

Cade's eyes widened. "That's why I know you!"

Just because you weren't likely to hear Sia cursing in Huttese didn't mean she didn't know the words, all of which were running through her head right now.

Still, she kept everything about her completely, carefully neutral. "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean."

"You're Marasiah Fel," Cade replied.

And there was that. There wasn't any sense in denying it, since it'd be easy enough to prove, and not for the first time she wished they'd had any idea she'd be walking into this so she could have come here under an alias.

So really, all she could do was say, "Yes," and see what happened.

"Huh," Cade said. "There's a price on your head, right?"

Oh, that was a good sign.

"Are you planning on doing something about that?"

"Haven't decided yet," Cade replied.

"I'd advise against it," Sia replied.

Of course, she was biased.

"Well, you would," Cade pointed out.

"Of course I would," she agreed. "But my personal reasons aside, it wouldn't be a safe or smart thing for you to do."

"I've never really been good with safe," Cade replied.

Sia gave him a patient look that she wasn't really feeling. "Of all the people here from our galaxy, I've yet to see two from the same time. I'm willing to bet it's the same for us without even asking when you're from," she said. "What do you think the Sith would do if you turned me in and there was still a Princess Marasiah Fel running around?"

"Shoot me," Cade said, "but that's pretty much Sith for hello."

"Yet another reason you shouldn't get involved," Sia said.

Cade examined his fingernails. "But it's a lot of credits."

"Credits can be gotten elsewhere," she replied. "Such as a private account that could be set up in exchange for leaving this alone."

She was totally lying. But she didn't think he'd drop the idea if she gave him the money anyway.

"How much are we talking here?" Cade asked, leaning casually in the door jamb.

"We'll match the bounty," she said, lowballing with fake money.
