Coruscant- Friday
When Sia woke after the explosion, she'd found herself in Imperial custody. Since she was an Imperial, that shouldn't have been a issue. But these Imperials were loyal to the Sith, and therefore she had a very big problem. Here, she was the enemy. They had allied themselves with the usurper who called himself Emperor, and she was part of a growing faction that had been a constant thorn in their side, but many of them had known her as a child, and so she got a bit of Imperial sympathy. So she received treatment for the injuries she'd sustained on Agamar, but she was still cuffed and left in a cell on the ship, when she wasn't being interrogated.
Privately, she was going to remember the names of every person who had allowed this, and when she did have a say in things, they would instantly lose their entire careers.
When they landed on Coruscant, Sia's feeling of dread only increased, though she kept it as tamped down as possible. She was absolutely not going to show anyone here that she was scared. Though, she thought she might have one chance, in the time that Moff Yage was escorting her from the A-wing to where the cloaked Sith was standing.
"Moff Yage," she said, dropping her voice so only he could hear. "I know that you once served my father. I can sense your distaste for what you have been forced to do. You know what will become of me in the hands of the Sith. I beg of you, help me escape. Defect."
"I cannot, Princess," Yage said, also quietly. "The punishment for my defection would rain down on my daughter. Your father escaped us. You are all I have to show for this otherwise botched mission."
She knew he wasn't happy about it. That didn't make what he was doing right. He was no different than anyone who had given her a bandage for a cut and then kept her imprisoned to meet an even worse fate. "I misjudged you, Moff," she said, holding her chin a little higher. "You have neither the honor nor the courage I thought you possessed."
The Sith was waiting, his face shielded with a heavy hood so all Sia could see were his yellow eyes. He immediately set off warning bells in her head, and it astounded her sometimes that non-Force sensitives couldn't feel that.
"Moff Yage, I am Darth Havok, an inquisitor serving Darth Krayt," he said. "The prisoner is to come with me to Korriban for questioning."
"My orders, Sith, came from Lord Regent Veed, and it is into his hands I am to deliver the prisoner," Yage argued.
"The competence and loyalty of the Moffs, including the regent, are in question," Havok said coldly. "Someone obviously warned Roan Fel at the last moment and until we know who that person is, everyone is under suspicion. Her Imperial Highness comes with me."
"I don't think so." That was from Morlish Veed, making his way to the platform with Moff Calixte at his side. So she had apparently escaped Agamar somehow with her cover intact. It also meant there was a spy for Roan right there and Sia knew she wouldn't get any help from her… but Calixte would get word out about where she would be going. "My orders were that the princess should be brought to me."
"I don't think you have the authority to make that decision, Lord Regent Veed," Havok said.
"I am the regent, and in the absence of Darth Krayt or Darth Wyrrlok, I am the throne!"
"My orders come directly from Darth Wyyrlock. If you have a problem with his orders, I suggest you take it up with him upon his return. Come, Princess."
Of course Sia thought about running, but it would be the stupidest thing she could do. She was cuffed and hurt, in armor, entirely recognizable and had nowhere to go, and that's if the Sith didn't catch her before she made any headway, which he would. No, she had to cooperate now, and perhaps make it easier on herself for when she really, really did not cooperate.
So wordlessly, Sia went with Darth Havok, leaving three useless Imperials behind to argue over who had screwed up more.
